Pindul Cave is a natural tourist attraction in the form of a cave located in Bejiharjo Village, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta. The main uniqueness is the cave tubing activity , which involves going down an underground river inside a cave using a float tube.
Visitors will be invited to explore the river flowing inside the cave while floating on an inflatable tube. The trip takes approximately 45-60 minutes.
Inside the cave, visitors can see beautiful and majestic limestone rock formations.
During the journey, you will pass through three zones with different atmospheres, they are Bright Zone : The initial part of the cave that still gets sunlight, Twilight Zone : The middle part of the cave with minimal natural lighting and Total Darkness Zone : The deepest part of the cave is pitch black, adding to the thrill of adventure.
In one part of the cave, there is a large hole in the ceiling called the vertical hole. During the day, sunlight penetrates this hole, creating a spectacular sight that resembles heavenly light.
Besides cave tubing , there are also other activities available around the location, such as exploring the Oyo River
